Hi!... This is Jessica Frey the owner of Maddy the sheltie in New York.
I just wanted to let you know that we found Maddy yesterday morning around 6am right in the area that you went over with me
the night before. You were right about the traps, she didn't go in but I went back to those areas where the traps were set
and basically rolled around them with my other Sheltie Monty to get our smell everywhere. My husband even slept outside in
the grass with hot dogs all around him at an area where she was seen in hopes that she would come back.
The next morning all of our 10 volunteers showed up and we placed each person at
a place along that greenbelt as you indicated...... Thanks to your advice..... it worked!!!!!!
During our surveillance, I got a call that she was spotted near one of the traps with some of her toys and lots
of our smelly scent. I was behind her and she was out of my sight but thank God that she crossed the path of my husband who
was coming down the hill in front of her. He called her name and said "Maddy get the nums nums" then she came towards
him. Monty our other Sheltie was there to help bring her in too. He ran right up to her and she jumped right into
Michael's arms and then he jumped into the car.
happy reunion we had!! Many tears and cries of joy were had with lots of kisses from Maddy.
I can't thank you enough for your advice. It truly saved my Mat Mats life. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
May God bless you!!!!!
