Houston's Final Exam

Below is the final exam Houston had to pass before I relied on him to work in a lead position. Some believe my requirements and testing standards to be too high for this work. I however, strongly believe that a high standard of practice and testing is necessary when working professionally in the search and investigation of missing family members.

My years as a volunteer K9 handler training in search and rescue for missing people taught me the importance of consistent training and testing that simulate real cases. These testing standards although stringent, will someday become standard and compulsory but for now only a select few believe it necessary to pursue a definitive training or testing  program in the missing pet service industry.

A missing pet is a serious emergency and the crisis should be handled with the same professionalism,  understanding and due diligence as any other missing loved one.
